The Supreme Court of Korea and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) jointly hosted Partnership Program on Judicial System for Senior Judges of Morocco, which was provided for fourteen days from May 8-21, 2016.

Headed by Judge Lalla Fatima Zohra ABDELLAOUI, who is serving as the Presiding Judge of Criminal Trial Panel at the Supreme Court of Morocco, the fourteen delegates visited the Supreme Court of Korea on May 10 and participated in the training program that covers the Korean judicial system, international judicial exchanges, court official system and various other topics.

The delegation also learned the operation of advanced Korean judicial system by making visits to the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Supreme Court IT Center and Seoul Southern District Court and having discussions with the people from each organization. The Korean Judiciary expects that the judicial exchanges between Korea and Morocco will continue to expand as this visit was the first international exchange with the Supreme Court of Morocco since the Chief Justice of Morocco visited Korea in 2007.
