Chief Justice T.S. Thakur of the Supreme Court of India and his delegation visited the Supreme Court of Korea on May 17, 2016 and paid courtesy call on Chief Justice YANG Sung-tae. The two chief justices exchanged warm greetings and had an extensive discussion on the judicial systems and their current statuses in Korea and India. Following the courtesy call, the Chief Justice delegation had a tour of the Korean Supreme Court building.

The Indian delegation visited Korea to participate in the Trade Law Forum Incheon 2016.

With this visit of the Indian Chief Justice to the Supreme Court of Korea, it is expected that the judicial exchanges between the two countries will become more active.
