The Supreme Court of Korea opened Online Family Relations Registration Office for Korean Nationals Abroad [http://kfamily.scourt.go.kr] to provide information on fast and easy processing of family relationship reports and issuance of family relationship certificates.  The website provides information on the procedures of the most frequently reported types such as birth and marriage, and on the types and issuance of official certificates.  It also offers official document forms for family relationship registration and time conversion feature that converts local time of the foreign city into the corresponding Korean time.  By providing the informative materials through the website, the Supreme Court plans to enhance the understanding on and offer accommodative means of family registration procedures for Korean nationals residing in foreign countries.
¡Ü The Online Family Relations Registration Office for Korean Nationals Abroad offers information on six types of the most frequently reported family registrations: birth, marriage, divorce, death, recognition and adoption.  It also provides <Information on Customized Registration Procedures in Various Circumstances> to offer advices on how to process family registrations and what type of registration forms should be used under different circumstances.
  - Information on Customized Registration Procedures in Various Circumstances provides information on how to process family registration of Korean nationals abroad and/or the related person under different circumstances as categorized by different country of residence, type of relations, etc., along with materials such as samples, required attachments, explanation on how to fill in the forms and official document forms in question-and-answer format.  Korean nationals residing in foreign country should fill out the form and report the family relationship by visiting relevant office.
  - The website provides total 20 different types of customized registration forms: 10 birth, 4 marriage, 4 divorce, and 2 death report forms.

¡Ü The website provides informative explanations for Korean nationals overseas, by offering registration case examples on family with member(s) who lost nationality and family composed of foreign national(s) as well as samples of family relations register.  It also gives detailed explanation on the process of receiving various family relationship certificates.
¡Ü Individual questions are addressed on the 1:1 Q&A Board to facilitate communication with Koreans living abroad.  It also offers a convenient time-conversion feature to convert local time of the foreign city into the corresponding Korean time.

The Online Family Relations Registration Office for Korean Nationals Abroad will provide informative materials on the procedures to enhance the convenience of processing the family relationship registration in foreign countries.

¡Ü The Supreme Court plans to promote the understanding and offer accommodative means on family registration procedures for Korean nationals residing in foreign countries.  The website will enhance the convenience of processing family relationship registrations for Korean nationals residing in foreign countries by providing information on the most frequently reported types of registrations such as birth, marriage, divorce, death, etc. as well as on the procedures to be issued with official certificates.
