On June 16, 2026, KI Woo-jong, Vice and Acting Minister of the National Court Administration (NCA), presented letters of appointment to CHOI Sung-soo and KIM Ki-han, the newest members of the Debtor Rehabilitation and Liquidation Commission (chaired by PARK Jae-wan; hereinafter the "Commission"), an advisory organization at the NCA.

Following the ceremony, the Commission convened its 24th regular meeting for an in-depth discussion on the future development of the insolvency system.

The NCA is committed to ensuring the seamless execution of key policies, including the Commission’s recommendation for a "full-scale online and digital transition of insolvency proceedings," and the concrete plan to establish a "Comprehensive Support Center for Bankruptcy Courts." To accelerate these initiatives, the NCA will proactively develop detailed plans and secure the necessary project budgets through close consultation with relevant agencies and departments.
