Effective July 14, 2026, Chief Justice JO Hee-de appointed Supreme Court Justice NOH Gyeonpil as the new Minister of the National Court Administration (NCA). 

In his inaugural address, Minister Noh stated that the judiciary can build a more trusted judiciary by engaging more closely with the public while upholding the rule of law and constitutional values.

He further expressed his strong commitment to fostering a warm, supportive environment within the NCA, where members can find mutual comfort and strength, highlighting the NCA’s role as a dedicated organization supporting the judiciary in faithfully fulfilling its core duties of delivering justice.
