¢Ã The Supreme Court of Korea hosted the Korea-China Judicial Seminar from June 23 to June 26, marking the event’s resumption for the first time since 2017. 

  ¡Ü The seminar was launched under the Memorandum of Understanding on Judicial Exchange and Cooperation signed in 2006 during former Chief Justice Lee Yong-hoon’s visit to China. It was held annually on a rotating basis between the two nations until its suspension in 2017.

¢Ã Chinese Delegation (6 members)

The Chinese delegation consisted of Deputy Chief Judge Wang Haifeng of the Fourth Civil Division of the Supreme People’s Court (Senior Judge); Presiding Judge Ran Rong of the Second Criminal Division of the Supreme People’s Court (Senior Judge); Presiding Judge Huang Xiwu of the Fourth Civil Division of the Supreme People’s Court (Senior Judge); Director Wu Haiyuan from the Division of Judicial Assistance, International Cooperation Bureau, Director Zhang Xi of the Division of Digital Court Planning and Guidance, Trial Management Office; and Deputy Director Shi Jianhu of the Litigation Service Center Construction and Guidance, Case Filing Division.

  ¡Ü The Korean side was represented by a delegation led by the Director General of International Affairs (High Court Judge) of the National Court Administration.
