The Chief Justice met with Mr. Yap Teong Liang, President of LAWASIA, during an official visit to the Supreme Court of Korea. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Eric Eunyong Yang, President-elect of LAWASIA, Dr. Gordon Hughes, AM, Secretary-General, and Mr. Hongjoong Kim, Executive Committee Member.

The participants discussed preparations for the 20th Conference of Chief Justices of Asia and the Pacific (CJAP) and the LAWASIA Conference, both scheduled for September 2026. The members also expressed their best wishes for the success of the CJAP Conference.
