¢Ã Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae appointed Justice NOH Gyeongpil as the Minister of the National Court Administration, effective July 14, 2026.

¢Ã Background

¡Ü Minister NOH graduated from the 23rd class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute and began his judicial career in 1997. Over his distinguished tenure, he served as a Research Judge at the Supreme Court, a Senior Judge at the Seoul High Court, a Presiding Judge at the Gwangju High Court, and a Presiding Judge and Chief Presiding Judge at the Suwon High Court, before being appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court on August 2, 2024.

¡Ü Since his initial appointment as a judge at the Seoul District Court in 1997, Minister NOH has dedicated nearly 30 years to adjudicative and research work across various levels of the judiciary. In particular, during his five-year service as a Supreme Court Research Judge, he conducted in-depth reviews of complex disputes involving constitutional and administrative law, playing a leading role in safeguarding fundamental rights, promoting procedural participation in administrative processes, and advancing tax justice.
