TITLE NCA and KEAD to Promote Employment of Persons with Disabilities

On November 6, 2024, the National Court Administration (NCA), led by Minister CHUN Dae-yup, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities (KEAD) to expand employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Under this memorandum, KEAD will provide support by suggesting suitable job opportunities and offering employment models, recruitment agency information, and various employment services, allowing NCA to enhance its efforts in employing workers with disabilities.

¡á Key Aspects

- Develop job roles and employment models to create suitable job opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

- Actively promote the recruitment of persons with disabilities and provide employment support services.

- Improve and operate job training programs tailored for the employment of persons with disabilities.

- Support the smooth adaptation of workers with disabilities to the workplace.

- Conduct educational initiatives to raise awareness about persons with disabilities and promote related employment activities.

With the memorandum between the court and KEAD to promote employment of persons with disabilities, it is expected to expand the employment of disabled workers and provide quality jobs, as well as contribute to fulfilling the sustainable social accountability and role as a national institution.

As social interest in the employment of persons with disabilities continues to grow, the NCA hopes this MOU will create a more systematic approach to enhancing job stability for disabled workers. Furthermore, the NCA is committed to improving awareness of disability issues among non-disabled employees.
