¡¼Main Issues and Holdings¡½ [1] Standards for determining whether there are reasonable grounds under Article 7(2)2 of the Framework Act on Electronic Documents and Transactions for the addressee¡¯s belief that an electronic document was transmitted based on the intent of an originator or the agent thereof [2] In a case where: (a) Party A provided a photo of his driver¡¯s license and Bank B account number and password upon request of an unknown individual who impersonated Party A¡¯s daughter, and installed a remote control application on his mobile phone from a link sent by the unidentifiable person; and (b) on the same day, the unknown individual obtained a recognized common certificate designated to Party A, subsequently opened an account at Bank C remotely, using a photographic copy of Party A¡¯s driver¡¯s license, and secured a loan, the case holding that the loan agreement between Party A and Bank C was validly executed, based on the finding that Bank C had reasonable grounds to believe the electronic document constituting a credit loan application confirmation document was transmitted based on the intent of Party A or their agent, thereby permitting Bank C to consider the declaration of intent included in the confirmation as that of Party A, an originator
