From March 13 to 14, 2025, the Supreme Court hosted the Conference of Chief Judges in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do, with a total of 42 participants. Attendees included the Minister of the National Court Administration and Chief Judges from courts at all levels. 

 The Minister of National Court Administration, in his opening remarks, encouraged participants to openly share their perspectives on how systems designed to expedite trials are impacting court proceedings. He reaffirmed his commitment to building a future-ready judiciary, highlighting initiatives such as the launch of the e-Criminal Litigation System and the development of AI-based trial support tools. The Minister also urged Chief Judges to inspire and support their colleagues in upholding the core tenets of the judiciary—objectivity and impartiality. Finally, he emphasized the critical importance of ensuring speedy and fair trials guided solely by the Constitution and the law, especially in light of the current grave circumstances facing the nation.
