○ On September 16, 2021, the Council of Supreme Court Justices delivered final consent on the appointment of 157 judge candidates with professional legal experiences, after deliberation on comprehensive information of the former evaluation materials and opinions collected during the open evaluation period.
○ Appointment of the 156 new judges approved by the Council were confirmed on September 30, 2021 and the appointment ceremony will be held at the Grand Auditorium at 14:00 on October 5, 2021.
○ The 156 judge appointees will receive training for newly appointed judges at the Judicial Research and Training Institute for five months from October 6, 2021 to February 28, 2022 to learn the intensive thinking mechanism during case disposition process and the virtue and knowledge that a judge must have. Upon completion of the training program, the judges will be assigned to respective courts on March 1, 2022.
